This is simply the natural state of a Subaru WRX.

Is it an appropriate time to make a joke about the effectiveness of those mud flaps?

Did you use a sealant on her?

Should just need a pressure wash off.

I could probably have a field day if I was your neighbour.

You’d always have you car parked in my driveway. Lol.

Unless it’s in WI, then this is it’s natural state:

Tucked in the garage for the winter while it’s owner dailies a FWD van.

Normal day here in WI. ;(

I thought about making the joke in the post but they do actually work. Without them there would actually be mud strewn across the side, not just gravel dust; and I’d still have a lot more gravel pinging off the bottom of the car.

That is indeed all it needs. The car is waxed on a couple of times a year but I could never be as meticulous as you are in keeping the car clean. Driving gravel roads every day would probably lead you to insanity. :P

Same here. I live/work rurally and drive gravel roads on a daily basis.

I wouldn’t want to park in my neighbour’s driveway, even if it was you because it would take me 20 minutes to walk home. That is both a perk and pitfall of living where I do.

It’s cleaning cars that keeps me sane.

Hey, Das. Totally unrelated to this post, I got a notification that you shared one of my comments to io9. I was just wondering what it was. The notification doesn’t take men anywhere. Thanks!

I don’t recall sharing any comments and I’m not an author on io9 (nor is it a site I visit) so I can’t share comments there to start with.

I did share an aviation history post to Oppoblog as I always do when I see them but no comments that I can remember.

I know the notification links aren’t always particularly useful so maybe you can see more from your dashboard (see all notifications) page?

Hmmm. This is the notification I got. It takes me here . Maybe just a glitch in the matrix?

Interesting. That is almost certainly the aviation history post being shared.

Kinja gonna kinja, I guess.

Haha, weird. That’s definitely another aviation history post being shared.
